The brain and passion child of celebrity chef Brother Luck, IV was created after Brother spent time traveling Asia. Brother's popular and award winning Colorado Springs restaurant, Street Eat was forced to close when the building sold, so Brother took a sabbatical to travel and find inspiration - and that's just what he did. In Japan, he took note of how all the cuisine was centralized on local, seasonal ingredients. This idea of tasting where you are was the inspiration for IV. Taking a look at Southwest culture, Brother stumbled across a quote from a Ute Tribe member that says, "Before reservations, we were experts at hunting, fishing, farming, and gathering - which made us excellent cooks." Those four food providers shaped the Southwest, and inspired one of the best restaurants in Colorado Springs.
